Client Overview:

MyLife Bathrooms, a longstanding client, has entrusted us with their storage needs over the years. Our services, including supplying racks and shelving and conducting SEMA racking inspections and repairs, have consistently met Mylife's requirements.

Project Initiation:

The collaboration took a new turn when the Mylife team approached us to explore design layouts for their new premises in Southam, Coventry. Michael Leek, one of our experienced Area Sales Managers, led the project. Using our advanced design software from Mecalux, we analysed various racking configurations, optimizing placement, throughput, and forklift aisles.

Design and Visualization:

Our team provided Mylife with comprehensive 2D and 3D visuals, accompanied by pallet data, enabling informed decisions about the warehouse layout and racking design. This step was crucial to ensure that the chosen configuration aligned seamlessly with Mylife's operational needs and business goals.

Timely Execution:

Once the order was confirmed, we faced a tight schedule, coordinating with other contractors on the site. Remarkably, we delivered the racking within a swift 6-week period from the order date. Our installation team, comprised of SEIRS trained operatives, efficiently set up the racking within just 2 weeks, adhering to the highest standards set by the Storage Equipment Manufacturers' Association (SEMA).

Comprehensive Accessories:

In addition to the racking, we supplied a range of accessories to enhance functionality and safety. A full protection package, along with mesh shelves and dividers for each picking level, was integrated seamlessly into the design, ensuring Mylife's products were stored securely and efficiently.

On-Time and On-Budget Delivery:

Despite the challenges posed by a tight schedule and concurrent construction activities, we successfully delivered the project on time and within budget.
